Tenors Donnybrook is located through an archway which leads into a circular courtyard, and then into a large dining area divided by a long bar. The courtyard will be great for the summer, which everyone in Ireland seems to think we deserve after two bad ones and the dark cloud of the recession (don’t hold your breath)…
To whet our appetites, we ordered a cosmopolitan and a margarita (€5 each).The cosmo was a sweet treat, margarita… an extra squeeze of lime gave it just the right sour balance…

The burger was clearly homemade and tasted fantastic, while the chips had a creamy, soft interior and a crispy, gold exterior. It was another winner of a dish…

On our visit, the restaurant was very busy and had a great atmosphere, all carried beautifully by a happy waiting staff who were well trained and genuinely friendly…
They are an example of how teamwork and training delivers things greater than the sum of its parts…
Tenors is serving simple, unpretentious and popular dishes at astonishingly reasonable prices. It may lack the singer to match its name, but one visit will surely have you singing its praises…

Irish Independent

Tenors Naas is just after the lights at the end of the main street on the right hand side, on Fairgreen Street. It has a big entrance lobby with a bar, and two tall pillars stand on either side of the entrance to the downstairs dining room, where we took a table. There's an upstairs as well, so Tenors must seat around 100 people. From the downstairs dining room you can look into the kitchen, where you can watch the chefs going about their business…

When you find a menu with dishes priced this low, your expectation level is also low. I certainly wasn't expecting much by way of presentation or skill; rather I was expecting competent, but plain dishes. The starters arrived and my expectations were shattered…

Served professionally and in a nicely-furnished dining room with comfortable chairs. That's a combination I've found nowhere else in Ireland.
